I don't believe that Steve Ellis represents his sellers in an honest fashion. We made an offer on one of his listings and he wouldn't even counter offer. Told our agent that once we have our house sold to come back with a "sharper pencil". Our house sold the next week, our agent was assured by Steve that if he had another offer he would let our agent know so that we could make an offer. We were scheduled to look at a few homes and asked to see this listing again Steve said no problem but just to let you know I have to respond to an offer tomorrow by 5. At 4:45 on a Thursday he informed our agent that he had two full offers on the home and that he picked one. Not allowing for a best and final offer from the three people interested in the home. The listing was pulled from the MLS by the following Monday and by Wednesday it was put back on the MLS. I would think that as an agent representing my seller a multiple offer situation is ideal and getting the most money for my client would be my top priority. Makes you wonder if he had multiple offers? The original "offer" fell through in 4 days he did not reach out to the other two potential buyers and give them a chance after the first accepted offer fell through in 4 days due to supposedly the buyers not working. Something just doesn't add up. If you're thinking about selling your home I would for sure think about listing with another agent/broker.
