Great room and very nicely taken care of. Clean and well stocked. The dockside room is spacious with nice view of the river on one side. The main view from the dining room is highway 30 with highway noises as vehicles drive by. Also there was a wifi password given to be used, but there was no connection for our phones or the tv in our room.

Great spot, we randomly found it looking for hotels in the area. Mostly Airbnb type here, but so worth the stay. Great river view from the front room (Riverview room) and great interior amenities. Only knock was that the beds are super firm and didn't allow for a great sleep, but they are high quality beds. This is just a bed preference not a quality issue. The place was super clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen - even down to a wine opener. You won't go wrong enjoying the views from the lounge chairs in the front room. The electric fireplace in the bedroom was a great addition to the room! Breakfast delivery was great, and food was great tasting and a good value considering it's basically room service.

One night stay. It was our first time at the Riverhouse. We booked the Waterfalls room. Our reservation process was easy and we received a text reminder the day before. Communication with the host was excellent. The views from the house are breathtaking. The sounds of the falls are super relaxing. The room was impeccably clean! The bed was 5-star quality. The mini fridge was stocked with water bottles and yogurt. The coffee station was fully stocked as well. They also provided some muffins. The room also had clean towels and toiletries. We were able to place a breakfast order and our breakfast was delivered hot and tasty! Waking up by the river watching the sunrise was amazing! Very quiet and peaceful getaway. We overall had a good stay. On the minus side: I was disappointed to see we were charged a $40 "cleaning fee," even though we booked directly with the property. I know they also advertise on airbnb, but after finding them there, I searched and booked with them directly, specifically because I know they would have had to pay fees to airbnb. I have never been charged a separate cleaning fee when booking an accommodation directly, and did not see any mention of this when booking. We left the room clean and stayed more than one nite. Also the "breakfast"portion of the B+B part was a coffee maker in the room (greatly appreciated, but pretty standard these days,) and a grocery store plastic wrapped muffin. Not really Bed and Breakfast material. ( Hot breakfast that can be ordered at an extra cost). On the plus side: the location is great. Highly recommend taking a kayak around the island directly across the river. The hosts were very nice and we were able to conveniently rent a jet ski with short notice. Stayed in the dockside room (just the 2 of us, and reservation made only a few weeks before travel). Was clean and ok. It had only a partial view from a screen porch area on the side of the house. For the best experience, especially for a family, if it's available, I think the Riverside room is their star accommodation.
