Big Lots

Pros: Has lots of cool finds for a good price. I was surprised to see how many seasonal items they had for the kids and the trinkets they had for gifts/organizing/home etc. Con: check out experience was weird. The main issue was the worker wasnt communicating. She was young & was probably having a bad day however: I didnt know they were ready, I had to present each item on my own to be scanned, and heads up: they charge for bags. I didnt know that until I asked for a bag for my finds & they seemed annoyed as if I knew that wasnt part of the normal check out process. I get they arent geared for the customer experience yet I hope that that changes just a little. Even offering a bag while scanning could have been better. Big lots of weird everything.

My girlfriend and I bought a bed set,a frame , a couch and a set of chairs and a table from here. We got a decent deal on all of them and was told by the sales lady Barbie that the only thing that we were getting that was used was the frame and we were ok with that. When we went to pick up these items they took the frame apart and we were the ones loading it up onto our truck and trailer. The frame had a lot of chips talked out of it and was held together with staples also we were informed that the couch that we bought was off of the floor. The couch was in pretty good condition but still we would not have bought it if we knew that it was the floor display. I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service that Barbie displayed and the gentleman that was dismantling the frame acted like he was put out by us being there.

I love going here. You kind find things here you can't find anywhere else. When they have sales,they are really good on top of the already low prices. I have an array of wind chimes, I bought them all at big lots. Really cute affordable stuff. You should check Big Lots out if you haven't.
