        Canceled insurance policy and still got charged 500 dollars, after cancelation request was signed days prior to supposedly being up rated for months that already passed worst insurance company ever!!!!!

      Hi Valkery and Becca Folk, I've looked into this and found that there may be some confusion. I want to clarify that your policy was indeed cancelled on September 15, 2023, as per your request. In situations like these, policies are typically cancelled effective on the date your new insurance starts, and the carrier then pro-rates the amount due. Typically any money owed would be for insurance leading up to the cancellation date. This way you don't "double" pay for insurance.
