One of the worst experiences of my life. We wasted four months being treated horribly by the sales associate. We finally gave up and went with another company and we couldnt be happier!

Another reason you should not buy from Clayton homes. They will say theyve been in contact with the city about your home being set on foundation and taking care of paperwork: that was our experience with Jake, and the city of Idaho falls said they sent papers to Jake about declaring our home as one on property since they set it on foundation and Jake from Clayton Homes never got back to them or told us, so now we get to pay our land and home separate because they never bothered to declare it as one. If he really didnt wanna deal with the paperwork he could have told us to do it considering we had to do the majority of it anyway since he would claim the city didnt wanna cooperate with him yet he never was in contact with the city about any paperwork like he would say. the city said they never got word of Jake turning in paperwork back of how clayton homes installed the home with foundation so thanks Clayton homes. We get to pay extra now. You guys are great

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE AND HERES WHY: I just moved in last year in June, and its been a hassle to work with these guys in a house thats falling apart. We have cracks in our ceiling that they were supposed to come out and fix, but they couldnt in the winter because it was too cold and they couldnt in the summer because they needed the house to settle and still to this day, those cracks are still there and nothing can be done because omg a year passed so they cant do anything anymore even tho they kept telling me to wait for the appropriate time. I have random sticks that they nailed to my wall that have been falling off all year. Called and no one came. I have appliances that they included, range and dishwasher, that I need help with and apparently no one can do that either. I called Clayton homes to have guidance, they told me to call the warranty numbers they left under our sink for appliances. I called both whirlpool and fleetwood homes, they both said they can do nothing because apparently Clayton homes had our appliances warrantied since 2020. So our warranty ended like a month after we moved in on appliances. But of course I did not know that because Jake said, we have 2 years with fleetwood and whirlpool so if anything, we could call them and get it situated with our appliances. Both whirlpool and fleetwood told us to call Clayton because that warranty needed to be situated on their part. I call Clayton and they tell me I need to call those warranty phone numbers for my warranty they cant do anything, BUT HOW IF CLAYTON USED THAT WARRANTY UP FOR THE 2 years my appliances were sitting in a warehouse OR WHEREVER so now I cant use my warranty because they already used it. And they just put me through a whole cycle again. My question is why did both whirlpool and fleetwood tell me that Clayton placed those warranties in my appliances but yet Clayton claims they had nothing to do with appliances so why did you use my warranty then. Why So now I have a range that doesnt work and I cant get it fixed unfortunately because Clayton already used my warranty, I still have cracked cielings, I have random pieces of wood they left, and the wood that fell off the walls because they never actually nailed them down, a sliding door they never came to fix that they put backwards, and just a mess of a home. Unfortunately after you pay them off because they need money to continue your build, any issues that came from their part is no longer their problem. So thanks I guess for using my warranty and not coming to fix the things you said you would fix. Also my leaking windows that your servicemam sealed he didnt, he just sealed the bottom and our windows kept leaking from the top, but I guess the excuse there was he could not reach. I could reach tho, even tho hes taller than me but, sure.
