Really homey restaurant if your looking for a friendly fun environment to eat this is the place not necessarily professional but its very welcoming and are waiter Brook was so fantastic love her energy definitely recommend.

I used to love going to the Wayback Cafe! We stopped going about a year ago due to poor service and poor quality food. Someone told us theyve really improved recently and to give them another try, so we did- and it was a terrible experience. To start, it took awhile for the waitresses to even notice we were there (there was only a few other tables), then she couldnt figure out how to put our order into the tablet- it literally took 10 minutes to put an order for 3 people in her tablet. The service was terrible, not only was I given a childs size glass- no refills were given the entire time we were there. Sauces were not brought out with our order (that was requested) and took 5+ minutes to get after asking for them, again. After getting the sauces, we didnt see our waitress again. The food was ok- wasnt great, wasnt bad. We were given 2 napkins, for 3 people (1 was a toddler). After finishing our meal we sat there for 20 minutes, waiting for our bill or even for our waitress to acknowledge us. I even left while my husband waited for the bill, to go clean my toddler up in our truck since the waitresses couldnt be bothered for a napkin. I came back in, and they still hadnt even ran our card to pay. I finally went up and asked if they wanted paid, and they acted like I was completely inconveniencing them. Again, there was very few people in there. Oh, and if you have houseplants- definitely stay away from this place. They have a HUGE tree in the bathroom that towers over the toilet and it is infested with spider mites, and Im pretty sure I seen some mealy bugs too, and its impossible not to brush up against it when you use the restroom. I love plants, I love when businesses have plants- but jeez- take care of them or dont have them- spider mites and mealys can travel on peoples clothes back to their house, its nasty and inconsiderate. Again, I used to love this place but Ive given it way to many chances and todays experience was terrible! Get some better waitresses!
