We have not had a bug since we started using Owyhee a couple of years ago. Jeff has performed the last several applications, and I love how he treats us in his job. April 11, 2024 Riley came at the expected time with his bright smile. Checked in to see if we had any specific sightings of pests to concern us. Said wasp nests were being spotted in other homes' eaves, and that he would look for them particularly and spray preventatively. Riley is always thorough, spraying cracks in patio and driveway for ants, and spreading a dry granule mix on the lawn to prevent hatching of eggs into larvae from a "mosquito fly" (nickname) like the one he pointed out to me on a pillar by the front door. I always learn something new from Riley. He has good knowledge and gives helpful information. Jan. 9, 2024 Riley was on time and as always pleasant and very informative. Answered our questions about millipedes and sprayed for them with focus on the entry points we have noticed. Always very satisfied with the service and Riley's personable approach to the job and his customers. We have noticed no spider activity in our home since using Owyhee Environmental, a big improvement from several years ago! Oct. 2, 2023 Riley came exactly when he was expected. He did a thorough job around our home and did an extra treatment for slugs in the area where they have been gnawing on our beautiful flowers. I appreciate the specific attention to areas of concern. He was friendly and courteous, and listened to what I described to him, then treated the property accordingly. It is a pleasure to talk with Owyhee Environmental by phone, and with each of the service people who come to the door. They are sociable, courteous, and professional. Best of all, they are very responsive to calls for help in between the regular service calls. When they say, "Call us if you have any further problelms", they mean it and do a follow-up visit right away. Really appreciate this kind of service. It is a relief to have a reliable company take care of the various pests that can be persistent. Update: February 21, 2022 - Mario came with Austen, showing him the methods and places to address in response to my call about ants showing up in the house. They sprayed inside the rooms and adjacent rooms where we had seen ants, and around the outside of the house. Even did a little extra swish for cobwebs in the entryway, an extra which I appreciated. Very courteous workers, thorough, and personable. We are very pleased with the service Owyhee Environmental always gives us. March 11, 2021 Pesky ants. Today Jeff came and sprayed all around the house outside and in the rooms where we see ants squeezing in between the carpet and kitchen flooring and finding trails up the wall into outlets and under switchplates. Jeff made a very thorough pathway of ant bait and killer spray (neither of which have any odor) and assured us this extra dosage will take care of the trail of ants which have persisted. He doubled down on the application, and we feel it could not have been more carefully and keenly applied. Also assured us that he would return for another thorough application if we still have problems. Before he finished, we already could see the effectiveness of the application of the spray. Dead ants in their usual pathways. Yay! As always, courtesy and friendliness accompanied the necessary work for us. Jeff makes us feel appreciated as customers. It is a good company--very responsive and attentive. April 8, 2022 I see that I mistakenly dated the previous review with last year's date! No, it was March 11, 2022 that Jeff came. He returned April 8, 2022 as part of our regular seasonal service, and did another very thorough job. Jeff Davis always does an excellent job, and this last application was no exception. Since last month's treatment for the ants we were seeing, not a single ant came back or squeezed its way into or around our home. Victory! Jeff also explained some interesting and helpful info about ants and their territories. I always appreciate the extra information that gives understanding and heads-up help.
