After hearing great things about this nursery my husband and I ordered about 70 seedlings. All arrived in excellent condition and were healthier than any mail order plants Ive received in the past. Thank you for your hard work and care.

For about six years in ago now, I have ordered seedlings from this nursery. I don't think it had anything to do with my proximity, or being a U-of-I alumnus. The forestry department students know how to get the job done. The staff knew well beyond what they kept in stock, many that they were out of stock (evergreens), some that they used to stock (mostly deciduous trees) , and even a few (of which were mostly deciduous fruit trees). This has totaled: +/- 1500 seedlings.

I have ordered hundreds of seedlings, both hardwood and softwood, and have always been happy with the great condition in which the plants arrive. Tree seedlings are, of course, relatively small, but especially in more difficult conditions, once established, they may surpass a tree planted when much larger. The nursery has many excellent native varieties useful for landscaping in both the dry SW Idaho as well as mountainous areas, and an informative catalog to boot. Order early, as they seem to be getting the popularity they deserve and sell out of many items.
