Barefoot Lawns

Yet another business that will never get my business. "No Soliciting" means don't put your flyer on my door. If this is how they treat non-clients, why should I expect them to treat me better once I was their customer. We will never know, because I'LL NEVER USE THEM!!

Our sprinklers were not working back in June, so we called this company. It turns out, we had an invasive species of clams stuck in our sprinkler system. It took the techs an hour to figure out this problem, when it was the only issue and very easy to see. Im not sure why it took them so long, but now were being charged $120 for them to tell us they couldnt do anything about the problem, and we had to call the city of Caldwell. They told us we had to dig a hole for the city to get to our pipes to clear the clam shells. They quoted us $400-600 to dig a hole for us. We dug the hole ourselves, and city of Caldwell came out, fixed the problem, filled the hole, and seeded the area for us, all in an hour. We are just now receiving this bill 5 months later. I called to try and figure out if there was something they could do to help lower the hill, since $120 for a check seems steep. We were not told that we would be charged this much back in June. Luckily we didnt have them dig out the hole too since their rates are ridiculous.

I've used a slew of lawn services over my life time and I can attest this is one of the best ones I've used. In the last 3 years my wife and I have used Barefoot Lawns of Nampa on a yearly contract with them. Our lawn is important to us, especially the back yard, where we do daily dog training with our trick dog (Winter). Barefoot Lawns has good communication with us, is responsive, the lawncare folks are professional and courteous. Any issue I've had hasn't been with them, but boy are they responsive to fix the problems that do creep up. Jeremiah and Ryan(who moved recently out of the state unfortunately) have been a pleasure to work with over the years. I highly recommend this lawn care service; they are very respectful and easy to work with over the years. Best, Mike
