The trail is the confluence of Pine Creek and The CdA Rvr. It is rite off the freeway so I would noT leave a car there. Right across the bridge of the trail I saw Bear sign afew yr s ago. I would avoid it in Spring. Take a noise maker . They wake very hungry The parking trail head at Kingstone by the Snake Pit,Enaville, is safer ,accept for bear hunters . Picnic area: Yes,A table at Enaville one .

Just pulled in here to take a little walk down to the creek. Saw some reviews of it on another app. Didn't stay long because it was 95 out, but I walked from the parking lot to the creek and saw a baby moose just munching away on leaves. It's a nice little area to ride bikes or take a walk on the path. I probably would have done more had it not been so hot. But I went wading in the water to cool off. Worth the stop.
