        DO NOT TRUST THEM !!! They will not verify insurance acceptance until after the fact even when you make the appointment well in advance. When it is too late, they send you the entire bill and say "tough luck, you should have done better research" We could have gone to many other places that DO take our insurance. There is a reason our insurance does not deal with them, we later found out. They are devious and underhanded !!!

        Doctor Sparks has been my eye doctor since I first entered his office over twenty years ago in first grade and he's fantastic. But what makes this place worth a 5-star review are the receptionists. Every. single. time. I call they absolutely make my day. I don't think I've ever talked with people who seem like they love their job so much.

        The most thorough eye exam Ive ever had. Beautiful, comfortable office with super friendly & knowledgeable staff. Ez location. Dr. Sparks is amazing, were so thrilled to find Shelley eyecare. Highly recommended

      Although we do not like negative reviews, we always like to know areas where we can improve. We are sorry you had a negative experience and it was unfortunate that we do not take your insurance. Although this is one of the few insurances that we do not currently accept, they have contacted us and we could possibly take your insurance in the future. We always try to get insurance authorized prior to every visit when possible. However that does require the patient to provide us with the most updated insurance information. Your vision insurance is subcontracted through your health insurance provider and although we tried to verify the insurance prior to the visit, apparently it had changed from your last visit and we were not informed that the vision part had changed until you came in for the exam. It was an unfortunate experience that we always try to avoid because it is not good for us or our patients and that is why we always try and get insurance authorized prior to each visit. We will continue to do the best we can at providing quality eye health care and taking care of our patients!
