I love to go there and make deliveries because the security ladys in the front desk in the main lobby and the other one in the loading dock theyre so nice and they always have an amazing attitude to the customer and to the residents I believe. Thank you for being nice to the ppl great job. We need more ppl like them.

Love this place man. The views of downtown are immaculate from the terraces above. The amenities included with this apartment are top tier. Nothing beats NEMA Chicago. From the moment I saw this, its stark height compared to other building in south loop, it definitely caught my eye. You can see from the architecture it resembles that of the Sears Tower. And the Sears tower is something that means a lot to me especially as a Bangladeshi American, as its a huge symbol for our culture. Besides the immaculate architecture of this building, the apartment itself is well laid out, near and clean, and feels like a proper luxury apartment compared to its competitors. Definitely consider living here if you plan on living in Chicago, would 100% recommend.

BEWARE of this place. Dont let the amenities fool you, from the staff that has a unbelievable turn over rate and smelling like marijuana and not opening the doors or welcoming you home to the elevators taking forever not to mention the private parking that has vehicles broken into regular but it's not there problem it's a 3rd party garage even no they charge a high amount per vehicle. We were shocked to find out they will pick every little thing apart once you decide to move and charge you for damages that was already there previous .The towels at the pool are never available, they cater everything to the Skyline side like the signature side is peasants even tho its almost 6k to live there. We had no help from the office on the few things we needed. BEWARE if you rent at this place go over your apartment with a fine tooth comb before excepting it, they will charge for every imperfection when you leave.I would suggest the new highrise opening up this year right down Michigan for newer technology and appliances for the money that NEMA is asking for this place is a joke. The fireplaces in the lobby and on the 16th floor never work they were always missing a part. The bathrooms in your apartment smell like sewage when opening the vent. You can hear everything the neighbors do from the thin walls. I was expecting something completely different for the price increase from a normal highrise we moved from but was left unsatisfied and disappointed for the price and the multiple screening and checks to be excepted here.

Overpriced and overrated. You will NOT be valued. Take your money elsewhere. The good: you will get good amenities, including a GREAT gym, and top-of-the-line accessories (indoor / outdoor pool). The units are tech-friendly and come Alexa compatible. A few units are worth the price you'll pay for it, as some feature layouts that allow for natural sunlight and a great view of Chicago. The bad: Where do I start? You will pay above-market rates, regardless of unit. You will wait excessively for elevators (8 elevators serving 80 floors). You will have internet connectivity issues you can't avoid -- the building integrated wifi network NEVER works, and will never be fixed. Apartment walls are razor-thin. You will not be valued as a resident, as staff especially in leasing are generally unresponsive, rude if they ever respond and treat you like you mean NOTHING, regardless of length of your residency. Your car may be broken into or stolen if you park in the garage, and management will do nothing about it. The ugly: Nema is DISCRIMANATORY. I received a non-renewal notice, after having lived here for 3+ years. Fair enough, but I asked for a reason for not having my lease renewed: Christina Chacon, the lease manager, first mentioned of a cryptic "pool incident", to which I immediately retorted, given I rarely use the pool and definitely had no incident. She said she would work with the property manager to look into it -- then responded (via email), 10 minutes after, clearly not having looked into it, and told me a move-out was the conclusion with no evidence of any violation. I found out my other resident friend, who is also black, recently received a non-renewal notice as well -- and in that case, also no reason provided. NEMA is discriminatory and racist, and will not value your time here : take your hard-earned money (and peace of mind) elsewhere
