The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was perfect. It was a little confusing to park but all in all a great hotel. We will be back.
Safety: Safe area and the amount of other guest and people created a feeling for safety.

Room was fine. Nice large shower although water came out like standing under a bucket. My biggest issue was breakfast. Plenty of food, but really poor quality. I expect more from a Hampton. Location is fantastic for access to McCormack place. Parking is expensive, but that is normal for downtown

Very nice, clean, and modern. Bed was a sleep number about 90, so uncomfortable for me, but my wife loved it. Good curtains that can black out the room.
My only complaint would be the weird sound the elevator makes periodically that almost sounds like a dog bark. Little annoying the first night, but then the drag racing -engine revving, and sirens from outside took over. There is nothing any hotel can do about outside city noises, just be ready for them.
Decent breakfast buffet. Good security- need room key to get elevator to work and access public areas other than lobby.

Staying here now. Two issues. We reported the slippery dirty pool floor issue to management (central Hilton website & at the hotel to mgmt) But no one has addressed them here yet. Otherwise the hotel is fine.
1) we booked this hotel for 2 nights to let our kids swim in the pool (chicago winter). The pool is open but no one from the hotel is cleaning it so unfortunately there is dirt and hair and water everywhere. It's kind of gross. The floors are also very slippery from the water. We offered to mop it yesterday if we could have a dry mop. They said they would send someone but no one ever came. Then we reported it online through the link mentioned in hotel response to other reviews. No response. We reported it to management again today and still no one has come to mop up the excess water. If they could just leave a mop and clean the drains of hair and gunk it would be great.
2) this is just an fyi to anyone on the 19th floor near the elevator. Beautiful view BUT you will definitely hear a loud noise all night from the elevator.

Hampton inn McCormick place very clean and staff very friendly...came in for my daughter birthday and by generous front staff assistance Anastasia was super helpful
