Dr Shah did an amazing job, I am amazed by the results. I was very nervous going in for my double jaw surgery and genioplasty but Dr Shah answered all my questions and has been great with all the follow up since my surgery. I had an open bite and now all my teeth line up perfectly. Another plus I did not realize before surgery that would also improve is my breathing, my breathing is much more improved and no longer feel like I have to breathe through my mouth. Thanks Dr Shah!

In brief, Dr Shah did an excellent job of correcting my son's overbite with orthognathic surgery. I am a dentist, so I have a good idea of all the things that can go wrong, and it was difficult for me put my faith in someone that I didn't know personally nor professionally. I had seen 4 different oral surgeons, and after meeting with Dr Shah I came away feeling comfortable that he knew what he was doing. His explanations were both thorough and clear and he didn't sugar coat the potential risks of the surgery. My son had a very narrow window of time to have the surgery done and Dr Shah and his staff were able to work us into their schedule in an amazingly short time, for which I was intensely grateful. Additionally, he was great about follow up. My 18 year old appreciated that he was treated like an intelligent adult, and I appreciated that I was treated like a colleague and not just an anxious mom. It's not enough to have good hands and knowledge, you need to be able to treat your patients with respect and have a genuine concern for their welfare, and Dr Shah has all of these qualities.
