    Ive been training with DJ for almost 3 years now and I believe he is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I know I would have never achieved the level of fitness and wellness I have at my age if not for the personal attention given in my training sessions. DJ is always very encouraging and has a vast knowledge of his profession. He is extremely reliable and punctual- always set up and ready to start training , with an exercise routine planned. He makes each of my training sessions challenging but also fun and rewarding. DJ is compassionate, kind and caring ; he is passionate about what he does and it shows. If motivation, flexibility and personal approach is what youre looking for in a personal trainer, then DJ is the man for you. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anybody who wants to achieve his/her fitness and health goals. I aim to continue to train and maintain a good level of fitness with his help for a long time to come.

I have worked with DJ as my trainer for years, successfully dealing with various issues (shoulder rotator cuff recovery, plantar fasciitis, overall strength training, etc). He is a compassionate and thoughtful trainer, and has been an important resource for me during the pandemic.

    I've been working with DJ for over two and a half years. I've seen a big improvement in strength, flexibility, agility and stamina. DJ assesses where you are initially at, including any injuries or limitations and gradually but steadily improves you from there. He is patient, positive and very encouraging. I had a shoulder injury for over 4 years that DJ helped cure. I also had a pinched sciatic nerve that DJ helped me recover from. Both my doctor and my physical therapists said they'd never seen anyone recover so quickly. This was due to the very strong core I already had due to DJ and his continued training which strengthened supporting muscles and was sensitive to anything that might affect my spine and re-aggravate things. DJ is not your ordinary trainer. He does not have a no pain/no gain philosophy, as pain means you are hurting yourself and is actually not a good thing. He has a knack for knowing what you can handle at any given time and modifies exercises or finds alternatives so that you don't hurt yourself and that you can do them with good form. He knows exactly how many reps and how many sets you can handle. I'm amazed at how great a workout I can get with his exercises that use just my own body, exercise bands, a yoga ball and relatively light weights. Many of the exercises he has me do are simple but ingenious and incredibly effective. , DJ also uses many of the things that I've done with physical therapists. He orders his exercises such that the muscles involved are activated in the correct sequence to prevent injuries and get better results. A person's joints (especially shoulders and hips) can move in different ways/planes, and DJ makes sure all of these are covered, And he makes sure that if one set of muscles is worked out, the opposing ones are also worked out.
