Redwood School is an exceptional and effective institution for children with dyslexia. My daughter began her journey in kindergarten, where she started learning to read in a way that she needs. The education and support she has received over these years has been exceptional. Our goal was to provide her with early intervention to boost her confidence and academic performance. Redwood is an environment that practices genuine inclusion and non-judgment daily, and the dedication and competence of the staff is remarkable. The school is committed to customizing education to meet each child's individual challenges and talents. The collaborative efforts of Wilson teachers, writing specialists, math teachers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers are instrumental in helping each child achieve their full potential.

Redwood Schools is one of the only schools in Chicago that offers evidence-based support for students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. With the correct assistive technology and SEL support, students with learning differences can access grade-level content and demonstrate their rich knowledge. In addition to making academic gains, I have seen students start seeing themselves as accomplished students and their self-esteem has skyrocketed.
