The Village of Glenview is a resource for sooo many things for Glenview residents -First Friday recycling, health fairs, small business support, senior services, free tree planting, Historic preservation as well as Property development, licenses, and very easy online building permit process! The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. They are open Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm closed Saturday & Sundays. Its one of the most Technologically advance villages in the north shore of Chicago!

Ordered DiMeos Bros Construction to drill at 4am within 100 ft of a residency. Violated ordinance code Sec 46-104 #9, where construction SHOULD take place between 7am-7pm Mon-Fri. Caused a 70-85 decibel noise from drilling which is way beyond the 55 decibel threshold. Woke up the entire residency simply because the supervisor at glenview public works confirmed, "It was not an emergency but they just didnt want to create traffic"... This information was later switched claiming it was an emergency, only after they were "caught" with making this kind of mistake. Construction cones and flag markings were placed a week and a half ago. A week and a half was a clearly planned construction site. When speaking to a public works officer I was told, " What were we supposed to do? Knock on people's doors and notify them at 4am that we will be doing construction?". Because it made more sense to begin drilling into the cement at 4am to "notify" the residents. Instead of simply notifying the property manager so residents could be prepared. Woman I spoke to at the village hall tried her best to accommodate. However, no residents should ever be treated this way.
