Oaks Apartments

Excellent apartments. Very quiet, the area very natural.

Please Don't move into this apartment. The management don't tell you everything straightly and talk to you only on emails. They asked me to submit application with the application fee. They didn't even give me few hours to decide. First they asked me to submit the fee as early as possible, when I did they said some body came over you so you're on the second priority (this was within 1 day). Later I kept on taking follow ups and finally they decided to show an apartment. Literally, they showed me a dirty apartment and asked me to tell our final decision within 1 hour if we want to proceed or not. I asked them to first clean the apartment first properly and then we will move in. They said, no we need to tell them in one hour as the market is hot and people are waiting to get in. They literally wanted us to sign the lease without even looking how the final apartment looked like. How is that even a fair deal? The rest room sink was scratchy and the tenants before had big locks in the apartment, still not sure why. Please beware of this apartment.

It's a cozy apartment it has a rustic feel like your up north . The area is blessed to have so much shopping now. Walking distance. Target, Silo Pizza, Chase Bank, Walgreens, Potbelly.....so on

Hello to every one who is looking for a home! I just couldnt help but to comment on Oaks Apartments. A specially when I saw those "one star" coments. I don't know what was going on 4 years ago, (thats how old privious coments are) but my friend moved in one of their appartment in 2019. I helped to make place beautiful and cozy. The back yard is huge and full of greens. When we needed maintnents guy to come in, he showed up in 15 min after our request. You only pay rent and electricity, water and heat are included in rent. Appartment has several thermostates in different areas, inside of this place, so you can control temperature in the badroom, dining area, living room and hallway with its own thermostate. Heat is based on warm water radiators, so no blowing hot air and roring heater! VERY warm and cozy! For summer time, there is a conditioner high on the wall but its new and quiate. Kitchen supplies are brand new, no one used it! I love a little, seperated dining area with a huge window which brightens the all kitchen and part of living room! A porch doble door is big and adds even more natural light in to the home! Large bedroom. We have our queen size bed, end tables on each side, two dressers and enough walking space in there. Nice big window in the bedroom and two large closets. So for the price of 900-ish for one badroom of about 800 squer feet, in a quite safe neaghborgood, its a good pick! There is no washer and drier in the unites but you can get yourself a mini portoble washing machin, for about a $100, it WILL get your laundry clean! Or use their laundry fecility. If you need a larger loads, there is a huge public loundry right down the streat. Sould I meantion that Target, Walgreens, other grocery stores, restaurants, hair salon, nail salon and gas stations -- just in a short, nice walking distence. About 4 miles from this home is a beautiful Lake Bluff Beach! If you need to take a train to downtown instead of driving, you can park your car at a train station and take a nice 40 min ride, its also about 4 miles away from an appartment. I am from Florida. I have a very high standards and live in highend home. My friend and I needed a temporaty place for a year, to come and go. I am truly happy with this little cozy place we got and would recommend it to others with open heart!
