Had a room booked here while on a road trip. Our van broke down so we couldn't make it. We contacted them the next day to let them know what happened and to ask for a refund. The first lady said they would do the refund but her manager would have to put it through. She said the manager would call me back. She never did. I ended up calling back 2 more times, the manager was never there they always said she'd call me back and she never did. They also said the lady who promised me the refund was new and didn't know what she was talking about. Who cares? The refund was promised so it should be given. Instead of being understanding and doing the right, moral/ethical thing they are still denying the refund. We had to spend $1000 to get our car fixed and they wanted to kick us while we were down and not refund a hotel stay we couldn't use because our car couldn't get us there. Horrible customer service, and the people who work there are ok with that which says a lot about this hotel. Stay away. ** my response to their response ** I contacted Hotwire and they said you had to approve the refund so don't try and blame them. Of course I called the next day and of course we didn't show up, OUR CAR BROKE DOWN. We were busy spending $1000 getting towed, trying to find a hotel, and setting up a mechanic for the next day. It was stressful and it didn't help that your hotel is trying to steal our money. This is theft. The fact that you don't show any empathy or understanding and labeled us a "no show" shows exactly how horrible you treat your customers. It's shameful and embarrassing.

Great bang for your buck. This location is conveniently located by a few restaurants and is a short drive away from Chicago.

I unfortunately had to get a room at this hotel and it was the worst experience Ive had staying at a hotel. BED BUGS. please dont stay here. The worker told me it was probably because they have homeless people that stay there occasionally. Pay the extra money to go to a clean place

This is the most economical hotel in the area. It is clean and staff are helpful. The rooms are clean but slightly dated. The desk and dresser both had pealing veneer but served their purpose. The television worked well with many more cable channels than I was expecting. They advertise breakfast but I found it to be a simple collection of coffee, yogurt, packaged rolls that were not very fresh or tasty but it provided something to start your day on. Also available were cans of apple and orange juice and dry packages of oatmeal. Coffee was available all day and into the night. The frig in the room was very useful for longer stays, I stayed for approximately ten days. A microwave is available in the lobby. As usual electrical outlets were scarce. Overall a clean and acceptable economical stay
