Our scheduled appointment for an estimate was canceled at the last minute by text message.  Replied that we were going out of town and would contact him on our return to reschedule.  I texted that we were back and I'd like to reschedule almost a week ago, but no reply. In the interim, I was able to get three in-home estimates from other local flooring companies within 24 hours.  I wouldn't trust someone to do a job that is so disruptive to your home when they cancel appointments and fail to respond.  Their business must be good since they ignored a job that would likely be $12-15k.

I have a home from the 1870s and wanted someone who would refinish my old oak kitchen floor (which was covered with old mastic glue from previous owners who had glued down linoleum). Roman was willing to tackle this, and he and his crew did an AMAZING job! The floor looks SO good! They were careful about taping off and keeping the other rooms/counters clean. I highly recommend The Flooring Ninja, and plan to use them in the future on my other floors!

Roman and the flooring ninja did it again! He helped us two years ago with our bedroom floor and now has repaired a powder room and hallway from a leaking toilet. He matched new wood to old wood (8 years old) and it looks perfect! He worked late night hours to get the job done and get it ready for the tile, all while we were on vacation. He kept me informed and I felt very comfortable with him in our home while away. I will never use another flooring company again. The BEST!!

Exceptional! I shopped around quite a bit when I was looking to install hardwood floors in my family room.  We had used a different very well reviewed company from the city for a whole home refinish the year before, and were left with less than desirable results, so we were highly skeptical before we hired Roman.Pricing was fair and Roman was extremely knowledgeable. He always arrived when he said he would and on time which was great. He was honest that the "three coats" the other company applied were actually only 2 coats+sealer, but helped us fix the floor and add the third coat from the prior poor refinish job.  Floors look excellent now, and we know the job was done correct this time. There is a reason Roman is so well reviewed, do not hesitate, Roman is the real deal, he is very passionate about what he does and makes sure the job is done correct.

We interviewed several flooring contractors before deciding on The Flooring Ninja.  We were won over by Roman's strategic thinking and his "do the job right the first time" attitude.  This was a perfect match for us since we knew some of the rooms in our house needed to have a leveling agent applied to the concrete slab before the vinyl planks could be installed.  Roman and his co-worker, Max, are detail-oriented, knowledgeable, with an incredible work ethic to boot. Their standard workday is 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the job site.  One of the nicest aspects of working with Roman is his integrity; if he told you he would do something, he followed through.  Working with a contractor requires frequent communication.  Roman excelled at keeping in touch with the littlest details, emailing or texting me daily to ensure we were on the same page with flooring decisions and to coordinate arrival and departure times from our home.  Although we are not fussy about dust and dirt when work in being done in my home, it was a pleasant surprise to discover The Flooring Ninja crew places a vacuum nozzle next to drills and saws to minimize dust.Our floors look beautiful and we would seek Roman and his team again if we need additional flooring work completed.
