I travel over an hour n 20 minutes to get here for me n my kids . I seriously never experienced amazing results and feel happy and not taken advantage of with prices after leaving jimmys salon . Hes very reasonable , talented , funny , free spirited artist !! Jimmy is flexible and open 7 days a week and this works for me bring a busy mom /student . I have been going to jimmy James for 4 years now n before that no one got my hair the way I wanted it n everyone charged outrages prices . Jimmy , you will have a forever client (as long as I live in Illinois ) lol.. my hair is beautiful because of you and Amari is even more handsome with his cool hair . Ps my son is autistic n jimmy is very patient and never hesitates to fix his hair also . Tutytyty jimmy !!

I have never in my life had such a bad experience. Please do NOT go here. I bought a Groupon for full highlights, haircut and deep conditioning. The entire experience was HORRIBLE. I walked out with orange zebra stripes, and a crooked haircut. The whole process was careless. He didnt ask the color nor cut I wanted, and legit ruined my hair. He even cut BEFORE bleaching. Then He carelessly slapped on bleach, I sat for a matter of minutes without heat, and he was already rinsing. The deep conditioning was 60 seconds at most, and the most aggressive shampoo. Thats when I started feeling very comfortable. Without being able to say I wanted toner. He was already drying. Told me he was done, and didnt even let me see nor ask if I liked it. I cried in the car about the horrible experience. As I built up the courage to text him, and ask for a refund. He had Groupon refund me my money. He told me he was tired that day. RIDICULOUS. He asked me to take down my review. As a kind person, I contacted Groupon to remove my review, but they refused, as it helps other buyers. I went to go look to see, and he blatantly LIED about me showing him pictures, because I never did. So I came here to write another one because of the disrespect from him. Please do not go here. Listen to the other 1star views, because I wish I would have. I spent hundreds of dollars for a professional to tell me it was the worst thing she ever seen. Service: Haircut
