Updating my review from 5 stars to 3. Initially, the team that came out seemed thorough, friendly, and informative. All in all the inspection took just over an hour and the report they sent back seemed packed with detail.
Pros:
They took the time to walk me through each segment of their inspection once they were finished and were patient enough to answer all questions.
Cons:
After closing on my house, I noticed water was leaking from somewhere in the kitchen and coming up through the floorboards. After having a plumber come out, they advised me that all of the piping underneath the sinks (bathroom and kitchen) is wrong. While they reported this in regard to the bathroom, I was advised by the plumber that under the kitchen sink was not even up to code and should have been easily caught by looking and/or running the water for any length of time.
This was disappointing because in their report, they wrote they inspected for leaks and that there were no material defects observed in the visible portions of the plumbing system. The plumber easily showed me how the pipes were cut short (PVC) and before the plumber even came out, I could see the water dripping just from running it fully for a few seconds. I wish I had know this ahead of time to make a better decision or at least as for an appropriate closing credit to get those things taking care of vs having to eat 3K +.
Also, when they responded to my review (below) they got my name wrong. It's literally written ON my review. Attention to detail could be improved all around it seems.
