        Had an appointment with Danielle Smith. I was asked what medications had helped in the past. I said four medications only one of which is a controlled substance. I was told by the doctor that if that was the only reason I made the appointment that I came to the wrong place and to get it from my primary care doctor. I couldnt help but think why was I seeing a specialist for? I was only trying to answer the questions that she had. It was hard to admit I needed help and felt very judged, so I found a different doctor at a different practice.

        I thought that the experience was very helpful and eye opening. Sitting down and talking was something that I never really thought could open up so much about why I deal with things the way that I do, and I feel that I have already learned a lot to try out moving forward.
