Monarch Landing

We moved in March 1, 2024, the whole process from signing the contract to move in was very smooth and pleasant. All the staff was very caring and helpful. Now we have been in more a month, we know we made the good decision, it is a very comfortable life here.

Its been almost three years since I moved into Monarch Landing. And since then I have never questioned the wisdom of this move or the time in my life I came. The people here both my neighbors and the staff that cares for us are among the finest people I have met. The food is almost too good. The halls are quiet and the Prairie bike path runs right along the north side of the property putting me in immediate contact to four beautiful forest preserves and downtown Wheaton and Naperville all without taking to the highway. My new home is truly great.

As a recent addition to the Monarch Landing team, I can confidently say that my experience thus far has been nothing short of exceptional. The dedication to resident care and employee well-being is palpable, making every day a rewarding journey. I'm grateful to be part of such a dynamic and uplifting community at Monarch Landing.

After almost 9 months as a resident at Monarch Landing, I am more convinced each day that the decision I made to come here was the right one. There is so much to enjoy about living here. I no longer have to worry about maintaining a house, shopping and cooking meals, or planting flowers. Instead I have a choice each day of a variety of tasty meals and if something in my apartment needs attention, a work order quickly brings a response from the maintenance department. Depending on the season walks are cleared of snow early in the morning, seasonal flowers are planted and tended, and a variety of beautiful plantings and trees cover the landscape. Monarch Landing offers a variety of activities to suit every interest from water aerobics in the indoor pool to card games, art projects, movies, a book club, and presentations by outside speakers. New residents are welcomed with invitations to dinner and activities. Although I knew a few people when I moved here, I have made many new friends through participation in activities. Monarch Landing has met all my expectations, and I am happy to be here.

Moving into Monarch Landing was the BEST decision my wife and I have ever made! The entire community- the staff and our fellow residents, are always so kind and engaging. There are a seemingly endless number of activities and social events to attend, along with beautiful, and secluded spaces throughout the grounds and buildings where you can spend time alone with your thoughts, whenever you wish. Everything can be taken care of for you by the expertly trained and available staff, from fine dining in the exceptional restaurant, to something as mundane as changing a light bulb for you!
