        Love this place. I've been there a many times I the last 5-6 years and have always been very happy with the work they have done. Eddie (owner) is a great guy and will explain the issue in a clear and easy way to understand the problem and the solution.

        My transmission was acting up ,I went to the shop at Central and Arlington Heights the guy done some work on my car before. He gave me very bad news that my transmission needs to be rebuilt $3500. I just want to confirm with another mechanic and do little research thanks to God found Trans-fixed Mr Eddie fixed my car for $170 was sensor . I never met mechanic so calm ,skilled and honest like Eddie!! Im very happy I found this place, thank you Service: Transmission

        2008 Acura TL, 143,000 miles. As I was pulling away from a stop there was a loud bang and I coasted to a stop. I thought the transmission had failed and I would need to rebuild or replace the transmission. I used Google Maps to search for transmission shops near my location and found Trans-Fixed about 8 miles away. I called and spoke with the owner. He had me do some simple diagnosis which indicated CV failure (not unusual for older Honda products), something my usual shop only 1/2 mile from me could handle. The owner gave me advice about what to replace, and expected costs for parts and labor. I paid a bit more for my usual shop but was back on the road in 3 hours, including towing. Thanks for your expert advice Eddie!
