I love this neighborhood! It's close to Washington Park and to Downtown Springfield. Many of the homes have the charm that you can expect from houses built in the 1920s.
Watch out for the busy intersection of Lawrence & MacArthur, I've seen quite a few crashes due to people speeding through yellow lights or turning from MacArthur onto Lawrence.
It's been nice to see that the intersection has a few people devoted to planting flowers and enhancing the overall look! Maybe people will slow down to appreciate their handiwork :)
