A1 Dhaba is a great place for authentic Indian food experience. The kitchen is open and they make food right upon order. Butter chicken, Kulcha, aloo tikki, kabab, chole bhattura and bread pakora is a must here. If you are near by or driving in I-65 this is a must try place.

First of all how did THIS place end up in nowhere Indiana off I-65? This restaurant is absolutely superb! Ive eaten Indian dishes throughout India (and the world as well). A1 Dhaba is as authentic as they come. The menu offers an excellent array of dishes, many of which are vegetarian. The breads are phenomenal, and the Indian tea is the icing on the cake. If you live in America, and you like Indian food I promise you this is your Cracker Barrell moment off I-65, exit 34. LOL! Enjoy.

I am southasian. This place is a HIT! Authentic desi food. Ask for it spicy if you want to be transported back to the motherland! The hospitality was great.
They are slow, yes, but that is because your food is made to order. That requires time!
Lizzy is such a sweet server. She will take care of you.
Authentic Dhaba vibes.
Im from Chicago, only other place Ive had authentic desi food in the US is Bundoo Khan.
Come here! Think less eat more!

It was a good experience at A1 Dhaba. Food and service were good enough. Staff were really nice and quick to respond.
Its always best to give a call before visiting. Cutleries need improvement. However, it had a regular Indian dhaba feeling. My overall experience was good.
