NOT GONNA POINT OUT THE DOCTOR WHO SAID THIS BUT THE DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT BECAUSE I GAINED 18 POUNDS WHILE I WAS OFF 3 MONTHS FOR ROTATOR CUFF SURGERY, HE SAID MY BARIATRIC SURGERY DIDNT DO ME ANY GOOD . IVE LOST A TOTAL OF 140 LBS SINCE MY BARIATRIC SURGERY OF COURSE I WILL GAIN WEIGHT IF IM RECOVERING FROM A SHOULDER REPAIR. COME ON NOW.

DR. Smart was incredibly rude. Always dismissed my concerns and wouldnt let me go in depth with what health issues I was suspicious about. gave me the same meds again after told her that medication gave that me very concerning side effects. which then led to me back in the hospital. She also took away a specific med I needed to treat a disorder I have because I needed a psychiatrist for that and this isnt her scoop of practice which is strange because why was she prescribing me and my other mental health meds in the first place if she wasnt qualified? She also in the past sessions raised her voice at me and ended the appointment when I tried to advocate for myself. Generally got very upset whenever I talked about my disorder and my medications. Then refused to give me any kind of referral to an gyno or a psychiatrist, and basically told me its my job to find one. Not to mention I needed a referral to a specific gyno or another specialist for the type of medical issues I have otherwise I wont get a proper diagnosis or treatment. In summary I felt very judged and nervous expressing my needs. Hopefully my new doctor will actually take the time and listen. Needs better bedside manner and compassion! The only positive thing I have to say is that the nurses were very friendly.

I see Nurse Practioner Amy Nikirk and have been a patient of hers for over 10 years. The staff here is very friendly and caring as well as very knowledgeable with their treatment. I would certainly recommend giving them a call in your time of need.

I saw Dr. Girgis and absolutely was impressed with the level of care that was provided. He was very professional, but personable at the same time. I wasnt rushed and he really took the time to listen to my concerns. I would highly recommend this provider.
