Indiana Center for Recovery - Alcohol & Drug Rehab Center Bloomington

Go absolutely anywhere else. They lie from the first phone call. The lies they fed everyone in treatment with the excuse that its a for profit companyand they dont even hide it once they have you, because then youre trapped. They will try to sell you on amenities that dont exist. When you get there, The men and women are segregated (like, how dare you even walk by each other style) and the women get the short end of the stick; there were at least 3 people who just ran away while I was there; there was a person a day leaving against medical advice because this alleged treatment center wouldnt do anything if they didnt think insurance would approve it, and the literal second insurance says theyre done, they boot you. All these people care about is money and they dont even hide it once they have yours. Theyll deny any phone access, actively hang up on calls they dont approve of; basically youre kidnapped. ON TOP OF THAT then you can expect a bill for tens of thousands of dollars (I'm at about $69,000) that they can't explain, they admit they don't know what's going on, and that your insurance company doesnt even understand.

My sister went here for a while and it definitely helped her a ton. Shout out to Erin and Colin in the Alumni Department they are amazing.

Everyone is welcoming and understanding. Motivated to accommodate, very willing to help in whatever way they can. Facility is clean. Many pathways to recovery are introduced, and encouraged. Even after the stay the Alumni team -Colin, Erin and Macy are super supportive and resourceful. I can't say enough good things about Indiana Center for Recovery.
