Beehive has been an enormous blessing to our family for the last two years. Through personal health difficulties of our resident there, and through the completely unforeseen challenges of Covid, the caretakers and management have provided a comforting & spotlessly clean home, while tightly observing the protocols to protect well-being. There's no place like it in Central Indiana.

I love Beehive, and more importantly, my dad does, too! My dad tells me often how happy he is here. He praises his beautiful room, the cleanliness of the place, the friendly staff, and the good care he receives. I am in agreement with everything he says, and am so grateful for the lovely folks at Beehive who make him so happy. What I love best about Beehive is its homey and family-like atmosphere. I think my dad would have felt lost in one of the "mega" facilities that I visited before I found Beehive. Its small size is an asset-- the open kitchen is surrounded by the dining and living rooms, and the kitchen is the heart of the place. Residents are able to have meals prepared particularly for them, and the food is cooked from scratch! It truly is a home. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and knows each and every resident on a personal level. I couldn't have found a better place for my dad. Thank you, everyone at Beehive, from the bottom of my heart!

The BeeHIve is a wonderful place for your family member when home is not an option! Living here is just like being with a large extended family. Our family can never say THANK YOU enough to BeeHIve and the staff. My father got to live the past 5+ years in the family like atmosphere he receive there. He loved the fact that the place was small enough that he got to know everyone there! This gives the staff the opportunity to get to know each of the residences. He often said they were like family. We were able to have a couple of reunions the past few years and the people who worked there were a part of these special days. This made my father so Happy!! While living at BeeHive our family always felt welcomed. Our family gathered there many times. BeeHive also had many family gatherings were everyone who lived there and their family's came. (This was before covid 19) It was always fun to meet everyone's families! While living at BeeHive we went through some life challenges. The staff at BeeHive was always there to help our family in anyway. The manager would help me get whatever my father needed. I loved that we could work together and I always knew what was happening with my father. They worked hard to keep our father happy and healthy! We had our parents at many of the other places in Bloomington and none gave us the homey feeling that BeeHive has! There was to many people at these places and you did not get to know the staff... working with them for my parents made us seem like they where just a number to them. The family feeling and the love towards our father was just not there like at BeeHive! BeeHive has a wonderful manager that was always there for me and my father. She and the staff always treated our father like family! This was always a comfort to our family. It is a great feeling to know the people caring for your family member is doing this with love! They all work hard to keep the people who live there Happy and Healthy! We are so happy our father could share his final years with such Great People!! We Love the people at BeeHIve and would recommend them highly!!

Making the decision to seek long term care for a loved one or yourself is a very difficult decision. I never imagined that my mother would ever require long term residential placement, let alone due to dementia. It is a heartbreaking disease and equally heartbreaking decision to find the best care and the right new home. I have found that home at the Bee Hive Homes of Bloomington. This was not the first residence I selected to care for my mother, so I have a good bit of experience with other facilities in the area. These were difficult times as other options in the area did not provide quality care or staff. I became very discouraged that I was never going to find a quality facility with caring employees and exceptional care. Then I found the BeeHive Homes of Bloomington. This truly is home to my mother and me! The BeeHive is a small intimate facility with high degrees of individualized care to meet the needs of each residents unique needs. The BeeHive has compassionate staff and owners. They provide exceptional physical, emotional, dietary, relational, and structured care. Everyone works as a team in a highly organized and comfortable setting. It truly feels as close to home as anywhere I have experienced. Everyone at the BeeHive is genuinely compassionate about their work and take outstanding care of all residents. The staff work extremely hard and care for residents as if they were their own family. This is not just a job for anyone working at the BeeHive, but rather their passion. I am eternally grateful for this team and this homelike environment during very difficult years. I encourage anyone that is considering long term care placement or knows of someone who is struggling with these decisions to contact the BeeHive and schedule a visit. An impromptu visit to the BeeHive now over 2 years ago changed my mothers life and has given me security and piece of mind.
