Every day Indiana University finds a new way to disappoint me with their food. There is one place that I loved to go to for lunch and that was the Luddy Cafe. The food is actually pretty good and they are usually pretty quick. Why did I give 1 star then? Im tired of the inconsistency. When it says open Monday-Friday I expect it to be open Monday-Friday. Dont post something the day of or the night before saying youre going to be closed for cleaning. You guys are closed Saturday and Sunday lets do some cleaning then why dont you? When Im on a tight schedule and I expect Luddy Cafe to be open for lunch I dont have time to go all the way back to my dorm because you guys decided to have some last minute bs cleaning when you were closed the past two days. This was my last straw with the inconsistency here at IU. I cant afford to deal with something new every day. If you are a student or future student of IU reading this do yourself a favor and pack a lunch because their cafes and dinning halls just arent consistent enough to use every day. Save yourself the trouble. And for the staff reading this: I pay good money to come here, lets start doing a little better with the food because its getting ridiculous. Edit: So I ended up forgetting to pack my lunch today so I decided to give the Luddy Cafe a final chance. I look on Grubhub and theyre open! check. Next lets order some food... oh wait they changed the whole menu so they dont even have what I usually get. Nice job guys. All I ask for in a restaurant is two things. 1) be open when you say youre going to be open. 2) have a menu and stick to that menu. Both of those things go along with consistency. Restaurants should be consistent, not a mystery what you may or may not have on the menu or whether youre going to be open or not. Please do us students a favor and be consistent. Thats all I ask.
