St. Paul Catholic Center

We attended mass on a Sunday evening. The music was excellent. The offerings are collected at the back of church instead of by passing baskets.

I think this church is the best traditional Catholic church out of the 5 in the area. I was hesitant because this is the one on campus. I went to OSU and experienced the Newman Center and did not like how modernized they made it. But this IU campus one was way better. Aside from lots of students, it seems like a good Ole traditional church you grew up in. I like to sing everything, so I'm pretty particular about what music they have in the church. I like the music they have here. They use the gather hymnal and the St. Michael hymnal. The priest is also younger and very relatable during his homily. The pews actually have the cushions on them which is uncommon for catholic churches, but I like them. The only trouble is the parking spots because there are so many people that attend. There are families and college students and older people as well. A good mix! They also have lots of mass times including a 9pm during college fall & spring semesters.
