Walmart Vision & Glasses

The person in this department should have a general idea how to read simple contact lens prescriptions. It blew my mind that my boyfriend couldnt get my contacts because the person there today could not read the prescription and had no clue what to do. She took a copy and was going to ask the doctor. They need to hire someone more competent. There are only two numbers you have to look at for a contact prescription. Both numbers were there and very legible. They were typed. What is wrong with people these days? Do they just not care?

Have been going here off and on for eye appointments since I was young, its so convenient and the people there are friendly and professional. Terry is an absolute gem! I really appreciated all of her help.

Pleasantly surprised with my visit here I scratched the lenses of my glasses a week or two ago and my Rx was expired so I couldnt just reorder. I was honestly dreading trying to get an exam done anywhere because I have 3 small kids and my husband is away for work for a while so I would have to bring them along. I figured this might be the easiest place to go. So I went in just for a basic exam and Rx, not shopping for glasses (I order mine online from another retailer) and they were so quick and very understanding of me having to handle my little ones. They already had my insurance verified from when I called and made the appointment and there were only two short forms for me to fill out. I was surprised that my Rx had even changed a little and the doctor took the time to compare my old Rx (which Id brought with me to give them a starting point) and show me the difference in the lenses. With insurance my exam was completely covered and the entire experience was quick and painless. Ive not heard the best reviews from people who have gotten glasses through Walmart vision centers, which is another reason I opted to order from a retailer I trust but as far as the exam goes Id give it 5 stars and I would definitely go back next time.
