        Great trails, a short one and a medium one. Beautiful scenery and fresh air. Great location too, minutes away from Bloomington. Wonderful all year around

        Really fantastic hiking trail 15 minutes away from Bloomington. I go counter clockwise on the loop usually to avoid the stairmaster section about a mile in on the clockwise loop. Either way, the whole loop is hilly and difficult no matter which direction you go. Great workout. I almost always hear or see a pileated woodpecker out here. Trail is always dry and clear, and is well maintained. Very thankful to have this trail so close to Bloomington.
