    If I could use zero stars I would. I have thought long and hard about this review. I first used this service to meet my needs of creating bids in the field and streamlining my invoice and proposal process. The first issue I had was they gatekeep the most basic functionality of a service like this behind their MOST expensive subscription plan. Want to renew contracts for the year pay top dollar. I got the most expensive suscription plan which costs in excess of 4k/ year. The system is a bit buggy and the mobile estimator app is hit and miss at best. Every update released seems to break 4 things that were previously working properly and resets your email templates so you get to rewrite all of your forms constanly. Last year the owners and creators of the app sold to some tech firm that is activley running the company into the ground. Need tech support? They will take a ticket and never call you back unless you harass them like they owe you money. GOOD LUCK Mobile estimating app is no longer pricing line items with the set up sliding scale pricing. It was working one day the next no love. THAT WAS TWO MONTHS AGO. I have called in EVERY week for an update because invariably when I call they say "we are not sure what is going on but we will call you by end of week with an update no matter what". NO ONE CALLS so I get to call them back. Once I get through and am telling them I'm looking elsewhere for software solutions they start furiously looking through all the tickets that have been created trying to make heads or tails of IF any progress has been made on the issue. THEY DONT EVEN KNOW and the ticket has been in for 6 WEEKS. I am disappointed in the complete lack of follow through. I feel like I am BEGGING them to give me a reason to stay with them but they just cant be bothered. TLDR: Owners sold to tech firm in 2023 who is activley destroying the company, they do not care about keeping your business, the app does not work as advertised. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    If you're considering Arborgold...WAIT!!! The software has a lot of potential, but they are no where close to having it figured out. You will spend hours, days, even weeks of your life trying to get certain things to work properly, only to discover yet another glitch. If I had it to do all over again, I definitely would have gone in a different direction. We're still waiting on fixes from months ago to be patched, only to continue finding other glitches and issues on a weekly basis. They even charged us $300 four months ago to separate the Qty and Unit on a proposal so it didn't show up as "ea 100" or "gal 4"...which made the proposals very hard to read. This service still hasn't been completed. They have a team of very nice customer support reps that will help you get minor bugs fixed, but most problems have to go back to the development team, who may or may not get around to fixing the issues. The training staff can come across very condescending and arrogant, wanting to charge you for more training when their software doesn't work properly. The sad thing is, if they could just get the bugs worked out, it would be an amazing product! However, in my opinion, they have a lot more work to do before it's ready for market, despite the fact that they're charging hundreds of dollars a month for the current product.

    My original website looked homegrown and wasn't driving traffic from Google. I needed professional help with SEO and design. It felt time-consuming and like I didn't have the expertise to tackle the problem on my own. I do tree work, not technology work! My new ArborSite felt very tailored to my company vs. out-of-the-box solutions you can find online. Monthly price was the only hesitation because it was significantly higher than my own homemade website on Squarespace. However, I did not feel like the time you needed from me for setup was substantial enough to take me away from my field work. The moment I realized the ArborSite was working was when I received two Google leads in the first month that generated over $6,000 in sales.     I used to have a 5 star review for arborgold. Myself, and many others in a Facebook group, are constantly having glitches and failures within the software. The amount of my time spent to try and get things fixed thru support is ridiculous, I cant believe I pay $6000 a year and get price increases every year for this software. Used to use Yardbook and it was way more dependable. I went to Equip Expo 2023 and talked with the owners, John and Donna, and the big dogs, Donny and Jerry. (BTW the other 3 people in the booth at that time were users with issues) I told them I would love AG if it worked like it should. Tried to get help, see if they would investigate my issues. I learned I was 1 in 7000 users and Im a drop in the bucket they dont care to help. A couple weeks later I get a price increase notification from Donny. I ask if anyone was going to help with my issues I mentioned at the Equip Conference. Donny said not to my knowledge. Examples of issues: last night couldnt send any job notification messages to customers. Spent an extra hour manually sending message due to this. Earlier this spring, 3 months or so after renewals were all sent out and accepted, all my renewals were randomly sent to customers AGAIN without us doing it. After talking with support they assured us it wouldnt happen again. It did. 1/3 if the proposals randomly sent again. In summary, Arborgold Software sucks, stay far away unless they make it reliable and start caring about their customers.
