Super friendly and very passionate about giving injured wildlife their best chance at rehab and release. Can't say enough good things about this place.

I found a damaged turtle along the road. Part of his shell was almost completely detached. I brought him home, used surgical tape to hold that portion in place, and called Wildcare. They accepted the turtle and are treating him. When he is well enough to be released, I will bring him back to his original habitat. The employees are helpful, and provide a wonderful service to animals that are injured. They do not charge an intake fee, but would like a donation of $30 once they receive no funding for their service. There is no reason for any animal to die of there is a chance they can be saved. Don't let anyone tell you it isn't worth it to try to save them because it is. They have a soul and feelings just as any living being does, and they deserve the same care and respect.
