We have been having maintenance issue for about 2 weeks, office doesn't answer phone call, don't have any email to contact and resident login is disabled. Maintenance crew who attended our issue gave us temporary fix and they are helpful. But management is pathetic as I am not getting any answers for phone calls since 3 days.

Ive been residing at Old Providence for over a month now, and I believe its worth sharing my experience in a review. To provide some context, my previous apartment complex was an absolute nightmare, so Old Providence feels like a welcome change. Old Providences location is a major highlight. Its conveniently situated within walking distance of Meijers and several restaurants. Recently, there was a lively St. Patricks event at one of the nearby bars, and the music kept the atmosphere vibrant. Surprisingly, I didnt hear any noise disturbances within my own unit, which is definitely a plus. Additionally, having two entrances to the complex ensures smooth access even during road closures. While I appreciate the quietness on my floor, I must admit that my upstairs neighbors seem to have a penchant for stomping around as if theyre wearing clown shoes filled with cement. However, the presence of floor police officers (approximately four of them) adds to my sense of security. The unit itself is quite pleasant. Upon moving in, I encountered a few issueslike a non-functional fireplace and a closet door that wouldnt close properly. However, the maintenance team promptly addressed these concerns after I submitted tickets through the portal. Ive noticed maintenance staff actively patrolling the premises, ensuring pet waste stations are well-maintained. The clubhouse is a standout feature. Their cozy coffee spot provides a refreshing change of scenery from my home office. The gym, though not overly crowded at the moment, is clean and well-maintained. As summer approaches, I anticipate more activity, but for now, it feels like having my own private workout space. Lastly, having mailboxes conveniently located within the same building is a practical perk. The concept of an appointment-only office isnt inherently bad, but theres room for improvement in execution. A giant sign prominently displaying this policy would be immensely helpful. Ive witnessed several potential residentswhom I affectionately refer to as money customersleave frustrated because they couldnt reach anyone by phone during their first visit. Upon moving in, I encountered some hiccups related to my account setup. Admittedly, the departure of the previous agent added to the complexity. I ended up dealing with two different agents, both of whom needed to verify my apartment contract and additional features (like the garage). It felt like a relay race of paperwork. Additionally, I had to proactively reach out to the apartment management to obtain my clubhouse FOB. The brick walls play a dual role: they keep the cold at bay during chilly days and maintain a cool ambiance when the sun blazes outside. Its like having a natural temperature buffer. Plus, theres something charming about exposed brickit adds character to the space. If youre lucky enough to have a fireplace, consider it your secret weapon against high electricity bills. I wholeheartedly agree! When winter arrives, cozy up to the fireplace, let it work its magic, and save those AC dollars. Its a win-win for comfort and cost-effectiveness. The kitchen counters are a delightful surprise. A well-designed kitchen can make daily life so much more enjoyable. Sliding doors might not be everyones favorite, but the extra space they provide compensates for any minor inconvenience. Initially, I wasnt sold on the idea of paying for trash valet. But after a month of using it, Ive changed my tune. On those days when I cant step out to dispose of trash, having the compactor conveniently located on the way out of the complex is a real game-changer. Its one less thing to worry about. I would rate Old Providence apartment complex 4 out of 5 stars. The positive aspects such as the convenient location, responsive maintenance, cozy layout, and thoughtful amenities contribute to its overall appeal. However, there are some areas where management could improve, particularly in terms of communication and clarity. Overall, its a solid choice for comfortable living.

Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. My boyfriend signed a 6, month lease and before he moved in, we took photos and video. The place was gross, dirty, the fridge had hair in it, the bathtub had candle wax all over it, there were broken blinds in the bedroom. Mind you, we have a video of all of this with a TIME STAMP on it. He just moved out beginning of March. He got on his hands and knees and scrubbed the place. When it was time for a walkthrough, he did it with the property manager. He told her he cleaned thoroughly and that it was cleaner than when he moved in and she said yeah everyone says that. She questioned why the dishwasher was loose and falling out of the space its in. Maintenance told him that they couldnt anchor it to the countertop because the counter top was granite. If she were any kind of good property manager, shed know whats going on in her properties. She ended up charging him for carpets and a broken blind. The blinds were broken when he moved in. Again, there is a time stamped video showing this. She tried to send him a move in check list that he supposedly signed with all good written on it. It has no signature on it and the all good isnt even his handwriting. Hes been trying to deal with this since he left and the communication is awful. They ignore him and dont return his calls or emails. He has had to email them every day to get an answer. The lady finally emailed back today stating theyre not reversing the charges for the broken blinds, even though there is proof they were already broken. This place is awful. The people that work here are awful; the apartments are awful. You pay 1300 a month for an old apartment that has superficial renovations to it. If you dont mind throwing your money away to a greedy and RUDE property, this is the place to go.

I ignored the bad reviews before moving in to find that they are all true. Once you sign that lease they do not care about anything except their rent. I have lived here for less than 6 months and opened 4 tickets already. 1 of them was closed out without actually fixing the issue or reaching out to me to talk about it. Ive requested a call from management and maintenance on the issue and have heard nothing. I have been ran in circles about another issue with keys and entering the building. It took 2 months for them to get me a key that worked to get my mail, the door to my apartment has been faulty at best since move in, Amazon wont deliver packages here because 50% of the time they cant get in the door and same with door dash and grub hub. I have had sitting water with dirty laundry in my washer that wont drain for 5 days. I have called maintenance everyday for an update or any kind of communication at all and I havent heard anything. I called the office and left a message at 10am this morning and still havent heard from anyone (almost 3 now). My apartment smells like stagnant water from dirty laundry sitting in water for going on a week and I cant even get someone from this establishment to talk to me. Im beyond amazed that they are able to operate under these conditions. 1 out of 10 would not recommend.

Considering I'm optimistic, unfortunately for Buckingham Management LLC, I have been left with a terrible experience when it comes to my time leaving Providence at Old Meridian Apartments. The Management Office will leave you with a Negative Customer Experience, and for them, that is absolutely a "Non-Negotiable". They do not share any integrity, ownership, or accountability when it comes to running this property, serving their clients (some loyal customers for multiple years) as would their owners, and, again, unfortunately representing the Buckingham Management LLC as mere employees, willing to do nil beyond what it takes to keep a job for as long as they have. In fact, details were carelessly recorded, and in turn, leaving their tenants in a situation facing penalties, fines, and additional charges. I am not surprised at the MULTIPLE Negative Reviews that directly address the poor effort and customer satisfaction of the Management Team, who continues to push their clients to have to take their time to share their negative experience with this staff.. There is zero effort, from the Providence at Old Meridian Management Team to preserve the relationships of their clients, integrity of the rental industry, nor reputation of the Buckingham Management LLC Company.
