Guidepost Montessori at Carmel

Guidepost Montessori Carmel has been such an amazing place to take our 1 yr old. After touring a few other daycares during our research process, it was clear as soon as we walked in the school doors that this school was the right place for our family. It has been such a comforting experience from day 1...which was such a nerve racking day because I was leaving him with non family members for the first time. But the staff has made every step of the process so easy and enjoyable that I highly recommend the school to anyone I can! The way that they update their interactive website with pictures and meals helps ease any worries I've had about how his day is going and how he's doing. They are really efficient at updating the community with announcements on multiple platforms (email and website) so I always feel informed. My child absolutely loves going to "scoo" and seeing his teachers and the staff! He has created a really sweet bond with his teachers Miss Nicole and Miss Gayathri as well as the Head of School, Miss Ashlee! He has learned so much in the short time that he's been there and has made a lot of friends! I'm so glad we found this school because it's turned out to be so much better than we could have imagined to help our little one develop!

I cannot say enough good things about Guidepost at Carmel. The staff are all incredibly friendly and communicative. I am very confident that my children receive the absolute best care here and are thriving in this beautiful facility.

Our child used to attend another large daycare in Carmel. After almost 6 weeks, he still had horrible separation anxiety, and I know he was not being given consistent care from the same individuals every day. Guidepost is so very very different. Our son has absolutely flourished here. Gone are the days of him crying when we drop him off. To the contrary, he often walks into his classroom and goes to start his works (activities that each child can do throughout the day) without even concerning himself with saying goodbye to me. He comes home in a wonderful mood, and he is always smiling and having fun whenever I take him to school or drop him off. His guides, Ms. Maryia and Ms. Makayla, are both wonderful people, and I know I can trust them to help us with any questions we ever have. Weve recently started potty training, and they have been so helpful in that process. Montessori has been a godsend for our son, and Guidepost has implemented it in a wonderful way. They are a small operation (only two administrators as far as I can tell), so you may run into issues with scheduling sometimes, but if you stick it out and take a tour, youll find somewhere your kids will be able to thrive.
