        Jon came out on a Saturday afternoon as my unit wasn't working. I explained to him that the system was only 3yrs old and under warranty from manufacturer.  He was at my home less than 45 minutes, replaced the gas valve and handed us a bill for $545.16. He left the part behind and told my husband he needed to get in touch with the people who installed the unit for the warranty repair for the part.  I'm sorry WHAT? Every HVAC company does Warranty Repair work on units. The parts are under warranty, not labor. He was very sneaky and dishonest. I called him to discuss the bill and he then tells me he doesn't do warranty repair work. That's a lie! I asked him to break down the bill for me and he refused. Pretty crappy thing to do to someone. We live locally and I will never recommend Purkys to anyone ever!
