Its Old. I can see the retro style. No issues with the room, affordable for the night. Smells like an old home (Not an issue means it got age). Lady at the front desk super Sweet nice lady. Had everything I need for the Night.

Probably the worst motel I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I looked for a cheap non-smoking motel/hotel since I'm pregnant and smells bother me more than usual. We got there and the guy at the front desk was pretty friendly but immediately when we open the door the room smelled like a chainsmoker had been in there for a week straight with a full stock of cigarettes. We tried going to the front desk again but understandably it was fully booked since we went during the 2024 eclipse time but he did offer to come up and spray some deodorizer in the room. But instead we grabbed our brand new frebreeze and used almost half the bottle before deciding it was too much and ran to the gas station to get a break from the smell. When we got back the febreeze had somehow amplified the smokey smell. We ended up taking a sleep med thats okay during pregnancy and tried our best to sleep through the night but we didnt sleep more than an hr straight since we kept waking up. Another side note is that there was a sign telling us to deadbolt the door for our safety but then the deadbolt for our room was ripped off with multiple nails or screws that looked like they were trying to hold the door frame together. We ended up not staying our whole 2 night stay because of how unbearable it was and never got a refund from them. Overall I would never stay at this motel again and I wish we could get a refund for our room at the very least.

Saw a roach in the bathroom by the tub. The fridge was frozen over which render it useless. But the front desk woman, Megan, was awesome. She's really great and very friendly and efficient. I did have a problem but she was quick to help me as best she could. Ice machine worked fine. I highly recommend getting a room that doesn't face the LOUD freeway traffic. I also prefer second floor because I often travel alone with my cat. It seems quieter than street level. The stripper club across the street makes the area feel shady. I am a staunch no smoking person so I want people to know that this place saying it's a non-smoking room means nothing. My cat and I both sneezed and I barely got any sleep. It was definitely smoked in during some recent stay. The freeway proximity and topless dancer club right by the property created an uneasy situation for me but I didn't have the energy (at 7pm) to rebook elsewhere. Also, really angry that this is was presented, on the Hopper app, as Indianapolis. Absurd. It was in the middle of nowhere. It should NEVER be included in any Indianapolis hotel searches. Ludicrous that it was listed as Indianapolis area options. I really appreciate Megan's help and information but I won't stay here again for the other reasons. Rooms: Ok not great. Lots of cheap details, like things cracked, worn. This is a place to stay if you're desperate and/or want no frills. Safety: Sketchy...tolerable at best. Mostly cringe. Walkability: Nope. Food & drinks: A vending machine. Nothing offered for breakfast. Eat elsewhere. Noteworthy details: Lobby reeks of cigarettes. Especially ironic when it's right by the posted "this is a non-smoking facility" sign. The lobby is really more of a depressing single room space. Not very inviting.
