    OVERPROMISED, UNDER DELIVERED! I don't consider myself overly picky, but if I am paying for a service, I DO expect to get what I am promised and what I am paying for. That is simply not what I got from Dirt Finders. During the initial estimate, they will be super nice and tell you all of the things you want to here. Once you sign up, the niceties go away! Furthermore, when I called to express my concerns, rather than offering to have someone come back to address missed areas (as their website and literature promises) or even hear me out, they instead argues that I am "never going to be happy". I suppose that is true - I am never going to be happy about being LIED TO! Pros: I am struggling to find any "pros". I will say is that *most* of the crews that came to clean were very friendly (can't say the same for the office staff!). Also, on the first cleaning, they knocked a shelf off a wall and they did have their maintenance person come rehang it for us. Cons: Wow - where do I start? - They require an initial "deep clean" regardless of the state of your home. We told them that we'd lived in the apartment less than 2 months and had had regular cleaning since we moved in. They still required an initial "deep clean" (more on the that later). - At the initial walk-thru/estimate, we were told that we'd receive a call the day before our service day to confirm our cleaning AND GIVING US AN ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL. They do call the day before, but (even when I asked) they often were unable to tell me when they'd arrive. Also, I requested afternoon cleanings which they said they would note and try to accomodate. In one case, we literally were told 10 minutes before they arrived at 8:15 AM! Except for one instance, they NEVER came in the afternoon. And there was absolutely no consistency to their arrival times, making it very difficult to make arrangements for work, pets, etc. - I paid nearly double the amount of a bi-weekly "regular" cleaning for their so-called initial "deep clean". They cleaned for less than an hour and missed MANY areas I'd expect from a standard cleaning - didn't dust blinds, didn't dust all shelves, window sills were not cleaned, etc. - During EVERY regular cleaning, at least one area was missed. Even when I called and asked them to make sure that they got it next time, it was still missed. Examples include - a very obvious coat rack with shelf in the entry way was almost never dusted; blinds were often not dusted; window sills were usually not cleaned; night stand wasn't cleaned (despite me making sure that it was completely free of any obstructions); trash cans often overlooked/not emptied. - Objects such as trash cans, rugs, etc. were often moved - in some cases to completely different rooms - and not put back in place. - They take ZERO responsibility for ANYTHING. If you are unhappy they basically tell you that it is YOUR fault and that you are not a good fit for their business. - Don't believe anything in the "Customer Guidelines" and other literature they give you. "Satisfaction Guaranteed" basically means, "if you aren't satisfied, we will tell you why it's your fault." Services: Standard cleaning, General housekeeping, Deep clean
