Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Wayne Southwest

Hotel is tucked away a bit which helps with keeping the road noise down. Walking in the hotel it smelled good, looked kept up and there is piles of construction material out front meaning they are seemingly doing some upgrades though we never experienced any noise from it. Check in was smooth, breakfast is typical eggs sausages and breads, cereals with plenty of coffee. Had an issue with room cleanliness (old bbq sauce on tables, unswpt floors ...) but was able communicate with managers for resolution.

Great shower. Spacious, excellent acoustics. Otherwise a comfortable and friendly space. Breakfast is just so so, but so what. Gemuetlich.

Very nice stay when I was in town. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast wasnt great. Very limited in choices. Everything else was great!

Very nice large room away from the traffic. Rooms: Large well appointed Safety: Away from the main street in a nice neighborhood.

Business travelers beware. A review will be left on Bonvoy about this particular hotel as well. The hotel manager, Alexa, was very unprofessional. Bonvoy tried to help in this situation but she wasnt complying. Bonvoy has been having problems for the last couple of months with checking in, checking out, and cancelling on their app. Ive reported to Bonvoy the last three times. They are working on it. The manager, Alexa, was not understanding. In fact she threatened to double charge me! I would not stay here. If youre looking for a hotel in the area stay at The Courtyard. Staff was amazing, food on site, bar on site, and very clean. I travel and stay in Marriotts every week. This one was ridiculous. Stay at the courtyard.
