avid hotels - Fort Wayne North, an IHG Hotel

Seriously, STAY HERE!! The beds and pillows are sooo comfortable, they are soft yet give support! The bedding was amazing! Stay here and get the best sleep of your life! Its also pet friendly but still so quiet so you can bring your furry friends and still get a full nights sleep! The staff is AMAZING!! We had to extend our stay and they made it so easy for us! They also gave us a later check out even though they were fully booked!! The breakfast is great too!! Ive traveled across the country many times and have stayed in dozens of hotels, this is BY FAR the best stay Ive had and thats including the 5 star hotels. The beds here are far more comfortable than any hotel bed youve slept in, I guarantee it! Its honestly more comfortable than my own bed and thats truly saying something! I HIGHLY suggest that you here! Rooms: Clean and comfortable! Safety: Its a very safe location. Food & drinks: Plenty of restaurants minutes away and there is a market in the lobby full of great snacks! Noteworthy details: The beds are the absolute best!

Absolutely love this hotel, Goldie at the front desk is amazing as well. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this is hands down my favorite place. They have the best beds, its always clean, and the amount of stores and food nearby is great. Rooms: Clean, awesome beds, nice large tv, and the shower is awesome Food & drinks: So many restaurants nearby and stores Noteworthy details: Goldie is the front desk lady and shes awesome.

My stay at the Avid Hotel in Fort Wayne, Indiana, was truly memorable, thanks to Goldy, the front desk employee. Her exceptional work ethic was evident in her welcoming smile and attentive service, setting a positive tone from the start. Goldy's dedication and friendly demeanor made my experience exceptional, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Fort Wayne.

I stayed in Fort Wayne recently and when I planned my visit I had originally booked at a different hotel. I don't want to drag that hotel through the mud on this review, so let's just say as soon as I walked in I knew I couldn't stay there. I looked at other hotels in the area and noticed that this one had the highest reviews. I decided to give them a shot. I walked into avid and spoke with Goldie about my situation - how I originally had a reservation somewhere else but knew I couldn't stay there and that I was scrambling for a solution. Goldie immediately booked me in and did her best to make me feel safe and secure. I've never just walked into a hotel and asked for a room, but Goldie didn't make it seem like a problem at all and was very understanding of my situation. She even signed me up for the IHG rewards program so that I could have the best rate possible. She was very kind for my entire stay. In addition, avid is a new build so the rooms are very nice - modern aesthetic, plenty of outlets in the rooms, lovely bathrooms, and a huge TV. I'm short, but since my partner is tall I always examine the shower height. I'm confident that someone 6'6" could shower comfortably. The only downside to the hotel is that the walls feel a little thin sometimes depending on who is around/above you, but it wasn't a big enough issue for me to complain or give four stars. Overall the hotel was beautiful, the staff was lovely, and the location is very convenient. If you're staying in Fort Wayne, I'd highly recommend staying at avid. Rooms: Modern nice rooms with plenty of outlets.
