I went to st rose of Lima when I was a teenager- I am now almost 29 and will say I never forgot this school. The principal was always nice, the nurse as well as all the teachers especially mrs Phillips she was amazing! Oh and we can't forget mrs Glynn and oh I think it was britner for religious class that always made people laugh. We had fundraisers, a carnival and a fish fry in downtown on Jefferson street by the court house.... we also did skits and plays and made movies from acting- I still have that disc for that! Unforgettable school! Great memories that I don't forget when driving past the school visiting from Kentucky with my own girls in the car I point out "mom went to this elementary school right there!" They are 9 and 8.... they wanted me to show them all the schools I went to as a kid!!! ...I always look at the sign at the end and smile... thank you st rose of Lima elementary for making an education ROCK!!! Our children attend this school. It's the best thing we could do for children's educational needs. We as parents are extremely pleased to have our children attend and associate themselves with this school and what it stands for. The new principal, Mrs. Floyd is absolutely the best principal I've had the pleasure of meeting!
