My Mother passed way on September 3, 2022 and I was very pleased with her Services. Mrs. Valerie Allen-Broadnax handled my Mother's arrangements personally. She knew my mother personally and her Father, Mr. Roosevelt Allen Sr. was very good friends with my Grandfather. This is our Family Funeral Home and my family has always been treated with kindness, professionalism, respect, care and concern. They have taken care of all my loved ones : My Father; my Brother, Grandfather and Grandmother, My Nephew. We had no issues and everything we asked for we were accommodated with no problem. The Flowers from Allen's Florist that I purchased for MY Mother were beautiful and we had no problems in terms of anything we asked for we were accommodated.

I have attended many funerals and visitations at this location. It has the potential to be 5 stars. However, I attended a visitation yesterday and was put off. The benches in the east room are stained, old and worn. They need updating and dark upholstery. It felt like I was on a Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Viewing started at 12 and I arrived at about 12:30. An employee came in and started vacuuming during the viewing. That detail should have been handled prior. I have only ever experienced kindness and compassion from the employees. That is a plus.
