The Villas on Fir Apartments

I was looking for 3 bedrooms apartment and I liked this place a lot from pictures. I was worried about multiple old reviews mentioning high electric bills 400-500$ monthly. I called the leasing office to ask about it and they said this was an old issue that they fixed. I believed that and paid my application fees after reassurance but shortly after that I contacted a friend who lives there to double check. My friend is living in a three bedrooms apartment and he said he paid in February of this year 650$ electric bill. Very similar amount each month with home temp barely 70 in winter. He said average bill in summer 350-400$. I called and cancelled my application, obviously lost the application money. I wanted to share this to make sure everyone planning to live there is aware of that monthly bill that they are denying.

We moved recently to this complex, the personnel have all been great and made the move as smooth as possible. We have needed to call the maintenance crew a couple of times for minor things and they have all been very respectful and professional, handled the requests in a timely and efficient manner. I would recommend this complex to anyone considering it.

I rarely leave reviews but have really enjoyed it here since we moved in a few months ago! Staff is super kind and helpful and the apartment itself is great! Only downside is the electric bills are extremely high in price, but when I called the office about this they were very helpful in answering all of my questions about it! Honestly the quality of the apartment along with the staff, maintenance, etc. has truly exceeded our expectations. Love it here!!

I rented a 2-bedroom apartment and my lease ended on September 10th. At the end of lease I was charged with a 50 dollars fee for an unreturned garage opener that I personally returned to the administration. After some initial miscommunication, Vilas on Fir and Birge & Held property management reacted favorably to my claim after initial denial, and decided to refund the money corresponding to the missing garage opener. It is only fair to acknowledge how positively Becky Engholm from Birge & Held and Jennifer Wingrad from Vilas on Fir took action to repair the incident previously described and to prevent further issues in the future. My appreciation to them. Future tenants will be thankful.

I have been here for 3 months so far and really enjoy my stay. I sold my home due to the great market and decided to rent with certain requirements needed. So far this place has met everything. I was worried about my car but found that it seems this is a pretty good car community and others who have similar tastes. Along with that it has been a great place for my dog. The layout of the place is great and it looks like each place gets new carpet before a new resident moves in. Things work and I haven’t had many issues.
