The Nest is a long term stay friendly hotel with no phones in room and no keycards (code to enter building and room). The receptionist is often not at the desk and 10:30pm -6am no one is on duty. Security is a bit of a concern since anyone can waltz in the front door when no one is on duty. Location is fairly new. April 2024 - eclipse event hotel was sold out. Although the insulation is not great, everyone was quite respectful and we didnt hear anything from floor above nor the highway right next door. It does come with a fully stocked kitchen, full fridge with ice maker, pots and pans, dishwasher, dishes and utensils. Our two kings suite was quite spacious but the beds were awful. The bedding and cleanliness of the suite were good. The lighting is limited and privacy shade rough to operate. One sitting chair, one ottoman table, a rolling chair along with a small table for work area. TV was sufficiently sized. Windows need to be cleaned from the outside.

Booked a room here on expedia at 8:45 and went to get something to eat at steak and shake down the street. I showed up at 9:15 and the doors were locked. No one answers phone, messaged through expedia and no answer. Finally called expedia who spent an hour trying to contact them and no results. I was told I would be refunded and never got it. BUYER BEWARE IF YOU BOOK HERE THEY WILL **** YOU OVER. Thanks for charging me for absolutely nothing but wasting my time Noteworthy details: Worst hotel I have ever dealt with

This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I came in late for NBA Allstar weekend only to walk into my room to the stench of old rotten fish. There is no one physically at the front desk so you have to constantly call a number that they hardly answer. I asked for a refund because I could not stay there because I'm allergic to shellfish. I was denied the refund for no reason. I had to find another room after midnight during a busy weekend and ended up paying double the price for the other room. It's a shame that I'm being penalized because of THEIR room that was inhabitable. Never again will I patronize this establishment.

Nice, clean, and spacious rooms. Quiet enough to sleep day and night. Kitchen is a big plus. Love the walk in showers. Rooms come with plenty of miscellaneous things that you may need such as coffee, soaps, paper towels, dishes, ect. All blankets, sheets, and towels are clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Living space with big tv is nice to relax. Balcony is small but good enough to set a chair or two on and get some fresh air. Staff is always working so theyre not always at the front desk but theyre very prompt when you call or need anything. Staff is very professional and polite. Staff arent foreign and speak English. Rooms: Very nice rooms for comfort, cleanliness, and peaceful. Nearby activities: Restaurants, shopping, grocery very close. Planet fitness close by. Safety: All doors are key coded. Doors on rooms are solid, good bolt and hasp locks on inside of rooms. I felt very safe at the hotel. I seen police vehicles outside the hotel patrolling the area but never seen anyone with their lights on. Parking lot has plenty of lights. No one messed with my vehicle or broke into it while I was there. Walkability: Hotel has good sidewalks, ramps, wide hallways, and elevator big enough for wheelchairs. Cracker Barrel and White Castle very short walk. If you dont mind walking theirs an outlet mall, Walmart, kohls, and a multitude of restaurants close enough to walk to. Food & drinks: Hotel has a pantry at front desk area to buy a few groceries, drinks, and miscellaneous necessities.close to lots of restaurants and Wal-Mart. Noteworthy details: Hotel gives best rates. They do weekly rates. No problems with getting refunded for early checkout booking with hotel either. Non foreign English speaking staff.
