Redwood Greenwood

Only move here if you don't have any interest in the landscaping for pet purposes. Except for walking dogs along the front side of apartments, all other "green space" is very rough and hard to walk on. Trees and shrubs were planted and then not watered. They are still fertilizing a brown, dead pine tree ... hoping for a miracle. While the layout and size of the apartment is great, the workmenship is very cheaply done. Here are just some of the other problems we had: 1) We had to buy a sound proofing panel to put by the furnace so we could hear our TV (this was finally resolved). 2) We had to buy a humidifier because there was so much moisture in the apartment. Water would also collect on the back side of the apartment. 3) We had to leave closet/pantry doors open on hot days because it would get very hot inside them (poor insulation). 4) The ice cubes tasted awful in the freezer. Their appliance "expert" tried to show us a demonstration that he said showed that the problem was from new construction and the water would eventually get better. We bought a better water line for the refrigerator and it solved the problem. We told the office about our easy esolution, but they are still telling residents that the problem is from new construction. 5) Speeding by residents and Redwood staff throughout the community. Since there are no actual sidewalks, this made walking our dogs dangerous, especially at night. We communicated often with the office about these problems. The result was our lease was not renewed. We are so much happier where we are now. For the price they are now asking for Redwood Greenwood, I would definitely look somewhere else.
