Maysville Regional Water-Sewer

We are senior citizens living only part time in Harlan, Indiana. During the summer we usually come home for one day a week. Last year our water and sewer was a little over $50 a month. This summer is was increased to $72 a month with us just using around 300 gallons a month. I thought I was told that was the new minimum monthly charge now for 2500 gallons of water. This month we used 1500 gallons of water and the bill jumped to $85 a month. So for the last 4 months we have used a total of 2500 gallons of water and paid a total of around $290 for that usage. Not sure how this is even fair to senior citizens who only live part of the year in Harlan, Indiana. My gut says something is not fair and something is not right. I might have to plead my case to the Indiana State Utilities Commission.

Happy with our service but is definitely more expensive than we paid when we lived in Fort Wayne and included trash and recycling pickup as well. Website, online payments, and auto pay options would be nice.
