I was recommended by a family member to the Highland office. I appreciate the care given by Mildred during my X-rays (that part has always been difficult for me). The Hygienist Miya took time to educate and answer my questions and Dr Redmond helped me feel at ease regarding my next steps for dental care. As a new patient my overall experience was good starting at the front desk!

Holy HIPPA violators!
My husband saw them in August 2023, they told him he needed a root canal and that they would get back to him about an appointment. They didn't, he called for a few weeks, no call back as he kept getting their voicemail.
Fast forward to now as he's now in intense pain after giving up- he walks in Wednesday 4/3. No one is at the front desk. He calls them while standing there and watches a woman walk over to the ringing phone and hit ignore. Well now we know why no one answers the phone. He finally gets her attention, they give him a hard time that he has to call and wait for a call back, he argues and they say fine, let's review your insurance and book you for a RC on 4/10.
The only reason he was going with aspen was because they told him they could give him halcion during the procedure for his anxiety. He brought home paperwork on 4/3 with their name on it and detailed info about this medication. I have a copy of the consent form they had him sign. They call 4/4 and leave a voice-mail they can't give him any medication for his anxiety after all because they just don't do it - why did they say they could and make us prepay $650?! He calls 4/5 and 4/8 and leaves messages and no one calls him back. I go up there 4/9 to find out what is going on, they explain they just don't do it. No one can explain why he was given consent forms for it. This is clearly weird and concerning, so fine i request to cancel his procedure and get a copy of his records.
At no point during my time there did anyone ask my name or proof of my relationship. They didn't ask me for any verification to prove my relation other than i said i was his wife. While they gave me a paper to fill out, they took that paper and handed me his records in the same exchange without checking the paper to even verify i had his DOB or phone #. I walked out of there with dental records that were not my own with no need to verify i was legally allowed to even have those records. This is a huge HIPPA violation and we won't be back due to this and the poor customer service.
We're supposed to get a refund in 7 business days, let's see if that even comes through.
